About Ashton Gate Stadium
Ashton Gate is a multi-use stadium in the Ashton Gate area of Bristol, England. It is the home of the Bristol Bears rugby team and the Bristol City football team. Located in the south-west of the city, just south of the River Avon, it currently has an all-seated capacity of 26,462, although for marketing reasons the figure has often been advertised as 27,000. Sharing a single ground between a rugby union club and a football club makes it one of the busiest sports venues in Bristol, and its position close to the city centre gives it good links for large events. This page is an independent guide and is not affiliated with the venue.
