About Nottingham Arena
Nottingham Arena is a multi-use indoor arena forming part of the National Ice Centre in the Lace Market district of Nottingham. Olympic gold medallist Jayne Torvill opened both the National Ice Centre and the arena on 1 April 2000. It is the biggest live entertainment venue in the East Midlands, and the ice-based setting means the same building combines spectator events with the surrounding ice facilities. Because it shares a site with the ice centre, event planning here differs from a standalone concert hall. The arena is identified by its National Ice Centre location.
