About Royal Highland Centre
The Royal Highland Centre, also known as the Royal Highland Showground or Ingliston Showground, is an exhibition centre and showground at Ingliston on the western outskirts of Edinburgh. It lies beside Edinburgh Airport and the A8. The site receives over a million visitors a year across a wide range of events. Its largest is the Royal Highland Show, which draws more than 200,000 people annually. The combination of indoor exhibition space and open showground makes it suitable for agricultural shows, trade exhibitions and consumer fairs, in contrast to Edinburgh's city-centre venues.
