About Three Counties Showground
Three Counties Showground is a 90-acre site in Malvern, Worcestershire, owned by the Three Counties Agricultural Society. The name refers to the farming counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The first show on the site took place in 1958 and was attended by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. As an agricultural society's home ground, it is organised around show events and open-air exhibition use, serving a rural catchment that spans three counties rather than a single city, which is why it is filed under other. Its Worcestershire setting near the Malvern Hills places it well outside any major city's conurbation.
